New instructional videos - BMV-712 Smart

We’ve released two new instructional videos explaining more about the BMV-712 Smart. We have a guest blog by Neosolar & Asolar – both based in the Czech Republic – which describes a unique off-grid system they have installed. We also have a blogpost about the Impossible Robotics team of young engineers who struggled (but succeeded!) to meet the deadline for their regional qualifying games in Florida. Engineers, installers and members of the Solar Industries Association of Botswana attended a 'Solar Energy Seminar' in Botswana which was hosted by Victron’s André du Rand. BMV-712 Smart – New instructional videos

Toward the end of last year we announced the new BMV-712 Smart – it's like the BMV-702 but with the addition of Bluetooth built-in; and it also has a reduced current draw. Now we have two new helpful videos which explain a little more about this ‘Smart’ product.

Victron enhanced off-grid system

A guest blog by Victron Energy dealer Neosolar & Asolar, who are based in the Czech Republic. Two inter-linked off-grid systems were designed to be very reliable and incorporate some interesting features. This unique system has proven itself operationally, having been originally commissioned in February 2016.  

 

Nearly impossible…

Impossible Robotics have built their Robot – crated just in time for the Regional (qualifying) games in Orlando - Florida, which was held between 8th and 10th March. The theme of this year’s competition was retro-gaming.  

 

Spreading the Solar word in Southern Africa

Victron’s André du Rand hosted a  Solar Energy Seminar in Botswana in early February. The first seminar of its kind - Engineers, installers and members of Solar Industries Association of Botswana, travelled hundreds of kilometres to learn how to program, configure, and install solar-energy systems.
