Venus v2.12 has been released

Venus v2.12 has been released; it has lots of new features, improvements and bug-fixes. We had a spectacular afternoon at our office watching the thrilling speed skating performance by Lotte van Beek. Read about her and her performance on our blog. Let’s have a look behind the scenes at the International Broadcast Center in Pyeongchang, where they use Victron equipment. Release of Venus v2.12

We have released Venus OS version 2.12. which brings several new features, together with lots of small improvements and bug-fixes. Let's go through the highlights of this blog:

  • Naming of VE.Direct devices
  • Monitor SMA & Solar Edge PV Inverters
  • Use digital inputs for alarm monitoring as well as pulse counting
  • Increase the maximum number of connectable devices
  • Distributed Voltage and Current Control

Updates have also been made for:

  • ESS
  • User interface
  • ModbusTCP
  • MQTT
  • Developers & community

Lotte’s passion powers her to the Olympics!

Lotte van Beek provided crowds of Victron staff at our office – together with millions of viewers around the globe – with some spectacular sport on Monday afternoon. In the thrilling Ladies 1500m Olympic Speed Skating event she finished just 0.9s behind the gold medal winning performance by team-mate Ireen Wust. We at Victron Energy share Lotte’s enthusiasm for speed skating – we are proud of her, and we are proud to be her sponsor.
