Last week we received the very sad news that Mr. Jaggat Sewsahai, who was our Supervisor Repairs Department, passed away suddenly.
We would like to express our deepest sympathy to the family for their loss. Our thoughts go out to them, and we wish them strength and support in these sad times.
Don't forget to sign up for the Victron Energy Training Days in Almere. There is a blogpost about the Reserva Nacional do Gilé in Mozambique whose headquarters needed refurbishment. And we would like to introduce you to Leo Yntema, one of our sales managers.

NICE TO KNOW
Reserva Nacional do Gilé – when off-grid meets off-road
The Dakar Rally off-road race is quite something, yet it seems building an off-grid system in remote parts of Africa is equally daunting – 8 tons of equipment needed to be transported to the Reserva Nacional do Gilé in the province of Zambézia, Mozambique – over ‘roads’ like those shown above. To manage and protect the reserve its headquarters needed to be refurbished – and that meant a new off-grid power plant for 22 buildings.
