Venus v2.11 released

We have released Venus v2.11. Don't forget to sign up for our Training Days in Almere in November. And we have a short list of updated documentation for you.

 

Venus v2.11 – Fixes BMV-712 compatibility issue

We have released version 2.11 of the Venus OS. It contains only one fix and no other changes:

  • Compatibility issue with BMV-712 Smarts. There was a communication issue in some installations (not all!) that have the new BMV-712 Smart. Not anymore.

Victron Training

Sign up for one of our other training events and learn more about our products. The next training events, all of which are still accepting registration, will take place on:

  • October 25th, Basic Victron Energy training in Fremantle, Australia
  • October 26th, Advanced Victron Energy training in Fremantle, Australia
  • November 22nd, Marine and Automotive training in Almere, The Netherlands

Remember to sign up for these training days in Almere-Haven, The Netherlands. All training will be conducted in English.

November 22nd, Marine and Automotive training

  • Topics covered will be related to working with systems in the Marine and Automotive markets.
  • Special attention will be paid to assessing user-requirements, calculating size and installing energy systems.

November 23rd, Off-Grid training

  • Topics covered will be directly related to working with island systems.
  • Special attention will be paid to the use of lithium batteries and software to monitor and control these installations.

November 24th, ESS – self-consumption training

  • Topics covered will be directly related to working with self-consumption systems.
  • Special attention will be paid to calculating and installing self-consumption systems.
  • Victron Remote Management (VRM) / Venus GX / CCGX setting up and usage will be discussed.

Training starts at 09:00 and finishes at around 16:00 hrs.
Training courses are free of charge, and lunch is provided.
Each course will have available, live, fully-functioning equipment.
Delegates will need to cover the cost of, and arrange their own Travel and Accommodation.
