Lithium-Ion HE battery and other new products

This week we introduce the new Lithium HE batteries 24V/200Ah and Lynx Ion BMS. We want to let you know that we will be at the Intersolar next week and you can read about the corrected body diameter of the BMV-700. Lastly there is a nice story about ProWatt making a Blue Power electric car.

New: Lithium-Ion HE battery and Lynx Ion BMS

Delivery of the new Lithium-Ion HE battery has started and the first batch of ultra-high energy density HE batteries 24V/200Ah has already been sold out. The next batches are expected in week 23 and week 25. Documentation is available at the Lithium Battery 24V page on our website.
 
Together with the HE battery we also introduce the new Lynx Ion BMS. Available in a 400A and a 1000A model. For more information about the new BMS, see the datasheet.
 
The Lynx Ion BMS replaces the Lynx Ion+Shunt models. They are being phased out. The 600A model is already out of stock. The 350A model is currently still available. Related products:
  • Lithium 24V/100Ah, BAT524101200, is being discontinued. Only a few models left.
  • Lithium 24V/180Ah, BAT524181200, is not being discontinued. Also we have upgraded the firmware of these batteries in our warehouses: they are now compatible with the new Lynx Ion BMS.
  • Note that Ion Control display is not compatible with the new BMS. It is only compatible with the Lynx Ion+Shunt which is being discontinued.

Body diameter of the BMV-700

One of our customers noticed (thank you for informing us!) that the body diameter of the BMV-700 (article no BAM020700000 and BAM020700000R) is 53 mm, while the same product with article no BAM010700000 and BAM010700000R has a body diameter of 52 mm. All other 70x series BMV’s also have a body diameter of 52 mm. We regret the mistake, which is due to moving the production of the BMV-700 to another subcontractor. This will be corrected as soon as possible, so that all models again will be 52 mm.

In the meantime, please continue to order the BAM010700000 and BAM010700000R if 53 mm is not acceptable for your application.

Electric production cars seem to becoming more popular, as are electric motive transport pleasure conversions and fun projects of many varieties – be they yachts, bicycles, boats, buses, vans, motorcycles, cars and even aeroplanes.
