Reminder: New AGM batteries

New AGM battery

After nearly one year of testing, we can finally introduce a new AGM battery with exceptional deep discharge performance. Although these batteries are some 10% more expensive compared to our standard batteries, the difference in performance is well worth the difference in price. Please see E-Order for our introductory offer: you will receive 10% additional discount with respect to the Q2/2017 pricelist. Three models are now available from stock:

  • 100Ah
  • 170Ah
  • 230Ah

and more will come later this year. If you have a challenging application: try them and let us know the results! For more information about the AGM Super Cycle battery, please go to the datasheet on our website.
 

Australian CEC approval for MultiGrid

MultiGrid 24/3000 has also been approved for connection to the Australian electricity grid. It already complied with the AS/NZS 4777.2:2015 standard for grid connection of energy systems via battery inverters and now the MultiGrid is also listed on the Clean Energy Council website.

Saving lives in Sierra Leone

Matthijs wrote a blog last year about a containerised energy system and we asked for your own examples for such systems. The Lion Heart Medical Centre is one of those examples. This medical centre was founded by the Lion Heart Foundation. The aim is to guide the centre towards sustainability and for it to become self-supporting, in order to eventually hand it over to locally based management.
