NEW VRM Portal and Dropbox
New VRM Portal
Faster, better graphs, better navigation and a fresh set of colours. For all of us that are familiar with the old site, this new one might take a bit of getting used to. For me, the new speed, and also the integrated graph on the dashboard is what I like most.

Use the Victron Dropbox folders
There are two Dropbox folders: First of all there is the “Firmware files” folder, which contains all the latest available firmware files for Multis, Quattros, MPPTs and more products. As well as the change logs. The special value in using Dropbox is that you can set it up such that you’ll always have all files available on your laptop. Even when you are out on a job, without a proper internet connection. Besides that one, there is also the “Manuals and datasheets” folder. Containing what the name says; all our manuals and datasheets.

To connect to these folders, login to Victron Professional, and navigate to “Dropbox”.

ERM Energies: Solar powered containerised system
Recently, we published a blog that serves as a primer as to what makes for the best practices when building an unattended battery based energy system. In that blog we also asked for your own examples and suggestions when building such systems, so we can add to the knowledge base of what makes a good system. One such example has been submitted by Jacques Noël (Victron Energy Sales Manager, France) on behalf of ERM Energies for a solar powered containerised system, which is due to be utilised by the Red Cross in Burkina Faso. Here are the details of that system.
