Release of VictronConnect v2.1

In this newsletter we inform you about the new release of VictronConnect v2.1 and that Pylontech batteries are compatible with all Victron’s 48V inverter/chargers. We have updated our documents and there is still a short stock list of 'old' Phoenix Inverters. You can also find the upcoming exhibitions and trainings. And Coromatic A/S will configure and deliver a range of Dragonfly trimarans with Victron Energy systems.    
 

VictronConnect v2.1

A new version of VictronConnect has been released.
General change:
  • Increase robustness in case of VE.Direct communication errors.
Android related:
  • Fix serial port communication errors on Android 6 (OTG + VE.Direct USB cable).
BlueSolar MPPT related:
  • Fix a bug on streetlight settings page that made lights not switch off until sunrise when PWM is disabled and “At sunset, switch lights on for a fixed time” is selected.
  • Add constraints to the day/night detection voltages to make sure that the night detection voltage is never below the minimum detectable voltage.
 

PYLONTECH batteries: MultiPlus and Quattro compatibility

Lithium batteries come in all shapes and sizes. But for some applications, such as the larger residential and commercial energy storage market, it can make sense to have a modular, stackable 19″ format battery system. This often makes putting together and working on a system much easier. Such a format is available from Pylon Technologies, and these modular battery systems are now deemed to be compatible with all Victron Energy’s 48V MultiPlus and Quattro range of inverter/chargers, including the new MultiGrid. Victron’s local and remote (via the VRM Portal) battery monitoring & management system – the Color Control GX is a requirement for the system.

We still have little stock left of the following ‘old’ units:
  • Phoenix Inverter 12/180 Schuko outlet - 230V
  • Phoenix Inverter 12/180 AU/NZ-230V
  • Phoenix Inverter 12/350 AU/NZ-230V
  • Phoenix Inverter 24/180 NEMA 5-15R socket – 120V/60Hz
  • Phoenix Inverter 24/350 NEMA 5-15R socket – 120V/60Hz
  • Phoenix Inverter 24/350 Schuko outlet - 230V
