Hub-1 Assistant updated to prevent shutdown on Overload and/or High temperature

Under certain conditions, a Multi or Quattro running the Hub-1 Assistant could shut down and signal overload or high temperature. This would especially happen on warm days with lots of sun. And in installations that have a relatively large solar array connected to the MPPT solar chargers. The new version of the Hub-1 Assistant is fixed, to make sure that no longer happens.  
 

Australian CEC approvals for MultiPlus and Quattro

Further Australian CEC approvals have been granted in the Off-Grid Inverter category for the remaining MultiPlus and Quattro models. All Multis and Quattros from 3 kVA up to 10 kVA are now listed on the CEC Approved Product List.
 

Automechanika 2016 in Frankfurt

If your business is the automotive service industry and you were near Frankfurt last weekend (Saturday 17th Sept), you should have come by the Automechanika 2016 show. Victron Energy had a stand.
If you couldn’t make it, there is always the IAA Nutzfahrzeuge 2016 in Hannover from September 22nd – September 29th.

Solar Challenge Chihuahua: Mexico solar car race

Victron Energy has sponsored (along with others) and donated equipment to the Mechatronic faculty of the Technological University of Tijuana, Mexico. The equipment has been used to power and monitor their solar and human-powered car, in preparation for the Solar Challenge Chihuahua. This solar car race is supported by the Chihuahua AC Solar Challenge, a non-profit organization founded in the city of Chihuahua in 2013. Its aims are to promote the work between universities and business, through research and innovation in solar energy. Read more
