Released today, the Lynx Smart BMS NG firmware v1.17 improves DVCC charging control, resolving unstable behaviour seen on some systems when regulating charge voltage. This keeps charging stable, prevents chargers from switching off unnecessarily, and maintains safe cell voltage levels.

Other updates include:

• The battery now remains at 100% SoC after a full charge until the voltage drops below the float voltage
• Includes Lithium NG battery firmware v1.03, fixing a communication issue that could require a hard reset

How to install this update

The update is available for download from Victron Professional and the Victron Professional-linked Dropbox folder. It can also be installed remotely via the VRM Portal.
