We have recently released Multi RS v1.26, enabling connection to the Energy Meter VM-3P75CT via ethernet, adding grid code support for Austria, and bringing several other improvements.
The two other important updates released this week are the Energy Meter VM-3P75CT v1.10 and Venus OS v3.65. Together with Multi RS v1.26, it is now possible to connect the Multi RS to the Energy Meter VM-3P75CT via ethernet over a GX device, making Multi RS installation in ESS systems much easier.
Another highlight of this update is the added grid code support for Austria.
Other improvements include:
- Removed the 5kW feed-in restriction when using an external AC PV inverter.
- Self-consumption from the battery can supply all system loads or only critical loads, when an energy meter is present.
- Grid lost alarm is now only raised if the AC input type is set to grid.
- Fix for inverter start-up in 3-phase/parallel systems when grid returns during low-SoC or ‘not allowed to discharge’ conditions.
- Postponed partial shading scan if the tracker is limited by voltage or power (built-in MPPT models).

How to install this update?
- For systems connected to the VRM Portal, the recommended method is to use the VRM Remote firmware update feature. Detailed instructions can be found here. For more information on the VRM Portal, visit here.
- For systems not connected to the VRM Portal, we recommend waiting for the next version of the VictronConnect App. This version will include the updated firmware and will automatically prompt you to update upon connection. If you prefer to update before this version becomes available, you can download the firmware file from the firmware library on Victron Professional and use the VictronConnect App self-supplied file update method.
