Today we’ve released EVCS firmware v2.04, which comes with the new Online Updates feature, allowing the EVCS to check if new firmware versions are available when connected to the internet.

Other updates in this version include:

• Cybersecurity improvements
• Improved grid on/off detection
• Improved handling of Start/Stop charging based on backup battery SoC
• Fixed an issue causing a 2-second delay before power-off in the charged state
• Fixed incorrect Gateway address in Wi-Fi AP mode

How to install the update

The EVCS firmware can be updated manually via the web interface or remotely via VRM: Remote firmware update.
