VRM logging IP address change  - only relevant with outbound firewalling
Victron is updating the VRM infrastructure, which handles the data logged by GX devices. The change is planned to go live around the beginning of September and, for most users, it will be invisible with VRM continuing to function as expected. However, for users where a firewall restricts outbound network traffic, the firewall rules will require updating.

The simplest solution is for the firewall to be updated to allow the GX to transmit information to the following hostname:

ccgxlogging.victronenergy.com TCP ports 80,443

We will change the above DNS name to the following IP addresses, but note that IP addresses always remain subject to change.

IPv4 addresses:
35.158.187.49
35.158.76.131
63.176.63.169
63.177.124.113

IPv6 addresses:
2a05:d014:509:311:f41e:6a9e:242e:7cc8
2a05:d014:509:311:281f:358b:63a2:d17a
2a05:d014:509:311:9857:5c00:2fe9:2e2a
2a05:d014:509:311:20e0:9f33:9b93:934b

For users with a standard broadband or mobile Internet connection, no action is necessary and everything should work as expected.  If in doubt, please consult the network administrator regarding the above details.
