Firmware v1.68 for SmartSolar chargers fixes a bug where temperature compensation was incorrectly applied to the load output voltage thresholds.
Charging voltage is adjusted based on battery temperature: increases when it's cold and decreases when it's warm to protect the battery. However, these adjustments were also being applied to the load output voltage thresholds. This has now been fixed. Once the new firmware is installed, the load output disconnect value will only consider the actual battery state of charge, without being affected by temperature compensation, which will prevent early or delayed disconnections.
