The new GX IO-Extender 150 is a compact solution to expand the number of inputs, outputs and relays on a GX device. It was a much-requested solution, offering a smaller and simpler alternative to installing an additional Cerbo GX.

The Extender is powered and controlled via a USB port on the GX-device and features easy-to-use spring-loaded terminals for quick and secure connections. Multiple GX IO-Extenders can be added to increase the connections even further.

Connections on the GX IO-Extender 150 include:

• 2 latching relays for switching low-power AC and DC signals. These relays retain their position even when power is lost.
• 1 solid-state switch for DC loads, up to 4 A.
• 8 configurable digital I/Os, which can be configured via DIP switches to act as 8 inputs, 8 outputs, or 4 inputs and 4 outputs.
• 1 four-channel PWM output for precise control applications.

Each connection has a dedicated LED indicator to show its current state, and for the PWM channel, intensity.

The GX IO-Extender 150 is fully supported in Venus OS Node-RED. Digital outputs and relays can be controlled locally from the new Switch pane on the GX device’s screen, or remotely via the VRM portal.
