Released yesterday, the latest version of the VictronConnect App includes firmware updates for a wide range of products, listed below.

Major updates include: 

• Orion-Tr Smart models with 48V output had a startup issue under certain voltage conditions. This is resolved in firmware v1.16.
• The new Multi RS firmware v1.24 introduces a ‘PV Inverter’ ESS mode, allowing the system to run without a battery and feed all solar surplus directly back to the grid.
• SmartShunt and BMV-712 firmware v4.19 increases the maximum battery capacity setting to 32,500Ah.
• Orion XS firmware v1.12 resolves the VHF radio interference issue for all models. 

Also included in this release:

• SmartSolar Bluetooth firmware v2.53

• MPPT solar charger 100/30 & 100/50 firmware v1.67
• Phoenix and SUN inverters firmware v1.37

How to install this update

In nearly all installs, the VictronConnect App will automatically be updated to the latest available version.
