We have just released Venus OS v3.51, featuring multiple enhancements to the New User Interface introduced last week. Make sure to read the related blog post for full details.
Key Updates Include:
New UI
- The EVCS connection line on the Overview page now correctly links to the AC Load box instead of connecting directly to the inverter/charger.
- Venus OS now supports a USB-connected mouse, useful for systems where a large screen is connected via HDMI to a Cerbo GX. Note that the response may be slightly slow.
- The onboarding and "What's New" wizard is now hidden if touch input is disabled.
- Several minor UI issues have been addressed and improved for a smoother user experience.
Classic UI
- The “Good news! There is a new user interface” message has been removed.
For the complete change log, including the previous versions, please visit the Venus OS entry in the firmware section on Victron Professional.
How to install this update?
For systems connected to the internet, there are two methods:
- On the VRM Portal, go to Device List and use the Update firmware button at the bottom.
- On the GX Device, or Remote Console, go to Settings -> Firmware.
For systems not connected to the internet:
- Use an SD-card or USB stick. The so called "offline update method".
For more information, please refer to section 9, Firmware Updates, in the GX Device manuals.
