Venus OS v3.42 - ComAp connectivity and more

Today we are releasing a new version of Venus OS, the software on our range of GX monitoring products. It contains two improvements:

  1. Fix error #122 which occurred when, remotely over the VRM Portal, updating Multi- and Quattro inverter/charger systems with a VE.Bus BMS v2 installed.

  2. Fix all known communication issues with ComAp genset start/stop controllers. This includes issues that occurred in combination with the recent ComAp firmware version v1.6.0.49.

How to install this update?

For systems connected to the internet, there are two methods:

  • On the VRM Portal, go to Device List and use the Update firmware button at the bottom.
  • On the GX Device, or Remote Console, go to Settings -> Firmware.

And for systems not connected to the internet:

  • Use an SD-card or USB stick. The so called "offline update method".
