Reduce cost and installation time with MultiPlus-II's new External Transfer Switch feature

We are excited to announce the new External Transfer Switch feature for MultiPlus-II.

This feature brings a significant improvement to the versatility, cost as well as reliability of especially larger systems, ie 60kVA and upwards.

 

Advantages:

  • Reduce installation time and costs: Saves on costs and installation time, especially for large systems that have multiple units in parallel. Eliminating the need to wire each unit by no longer having to wire each unit both on its AC input as well as AC output terminals.

  • Reduce equipment costs by using MultiPlus-II 8kVA, 10kVA and 15kVA in larger, parallel systems, instead of the more expensive Quattro 48/15kVA.  

  • Flexible installation: Multis and batteries can be installed up to 20 meters away from the main distribution board, without having to run power wiring back and forth.

  • No Bypass Switch Required: Eliminates the need for a separate bypass switch.

 

Key details: 

  • Compatibility: works with all MultiPlus-II models rated 5000VA and above.

  • Generator only: This solution is intended for generator-based systems. It cannot be used with grid-tied systems as it is not certified for such use.
