VictronConnect 1.4: add user selectable firmware files
The previous release of VictronConnect already added fully automatic firmware updates. No need to do anything: when necessary, you’ll automatically be prompted to update firmware of a connected device.
Now we have added a more fine grained option: select a specific firmware file to use, for example as received by email or downloaded from the Victron Professional portal.
It works for Windows and Mac computers, but also Android and Apple iOS smartphones.

Victron Energy supports Croatian Solar Cinema
Recently a team from Via Solis in Croatia visited the Netherlands to collect their Victron Energy sponsored equipment for the Solar Cinema Adria project. The Via Solis team is a new partner in Solar World Cinema, which is an international network of solar-powered mobile cinemas. Victron Energy has provided the team with a MultiPlus and AGM batteries to assist this innovative project.

Mukambi Safari Lodge integrates Freedom Won LiFePO4 battery
Freedom Won has been supplying class leading lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) batteries to the residential and commercial renewable and backup energy sector since February 2015. The company has supplied more than 100 of its Freedom Lite lithium batteries in the last 12 months, ranging from 5kWh to 40kWh. Amongst these was a Freedom Lite Business 40/28 model, integrated with Victron Energy equipment, for the Mukambi Safari Lodge in the Kafue National Park in Zambia, Southern Africa.
