Today we released Venus OS v3.00. Highlights:

• Add warm-up and cool-down feature to the generator start/stop system.
• Add option to auto-stop backup generators connected to AC-in 1. That auto-stop feature was, until now, only available for generators connected to AC-in 2. For further details, make sure to read the VE.Bus 501 firmware news item.
• Peak shaving, and improved control speed for ESS (when it has EM540)
• Disable the touch feature on a GX Touch, making it just a monitor.

How to install this update?

For systems connected to the internet, there are two different methods:

• On the VRM Portal, go to Device List and there use the Update firmware button at the bottom. This method is relatively new.
• On the GX Device, or Remote Console go to Settings -> Firmware.

And for systems not connected to the internet:

• Use a SD-card or USB stick. The so called "off line update method".
