The EV Charing station is available in 2 versions. One with and one without 'NS' in the product name.
Both EV Charging stations
- can deliver a charging power up to a maximum of 22kW 3-phase which can be reduced to a minimum of 6A 1-phase. This makes it flexible and capable of handling even lowest PV surplus energy.
- connect through a IEC 62196 Type 2 connector to the electric vehicle.
- have integrated Bluetooth for communicating with VictronConnect.
- have integrated WiFi to connect to a GX device in the system enabling remote monitoring and control.
- can be set in manual mode, where the output current can be set in the VictronConnect app, integrated webserver, VRM portal or on the touch display.
- can be set in automatic mode, whereas only surplus energy will be used to charge the car. This is for grid connected and off-grid systems.
- can be set in scheduled mode to charge only during periods when energy price level is low.
Additionally the EV Charging station (without 'NS') has a touch display. This is extremely useful to read and configure the EV Charging station without the help of any external device.
The EV Charging station NS does not have the touch display, so it is controlled completely with either VictronConnect, integrated webserver or the VRM portal. The front can be changed from (default) blue to black or white. This front can be ordered separately.
