We released VictronConnect v5.83 to all app stores. It brings various fixes and mostly updates the firmware included in the app.

We added:

• Ukrainian translation

SmartShunt firmware v4.14:

• Fix for lost firmware. In rare situations the SmartShunt would require a firmware update after a cold boot (powerup). When this happened, the functionality of the Smartshunt was fully restored by completing the update. There was no impact on the History and the Settings i.e both remained unaffected by this issue.
• Fix for failing updates. In some rare situations the update was aborted due to an unexpected internal hardware event.

BMV-712/710H firmware v4.13:

• Fix for incorrect calculated state of charge (SOC) when no temperature sensor is connected while the auxiliary input is set to “Temperature”. This issue was found in v4.12 and could in extreme cases result in a SOC that is always 1%.
• BMV-710: Since latest released firmware for this model was v4.05 , with the v4.13 update the BMV-710H gets all the fixes and features from intermediate versions like DC monitor mode and retained SOC on reset.

Orion Smart firmware v1.13: (Update is only mandatory for models affected by the issue described below)

• Fix issue on some isolated 24V output models that don’t startup on low temperatures.
