VictronConnect v5.27 and Lithium Smart v1.19

We released an update for VictronConnect and our Lithium Smart batteries. The firmware update for the batteries is essential in certain use-cases. The old firmware caused an imbalance between the cells in a battery. As a result the batteries needed a full charge more often than normally required – to restore the balance. The issue affected only 12V Lithium Smart batteries – not the 24V model.

New and updated documents

• On the product page and on the datasheets of the Zigbee to USB converter & Zigbee to RS485 converter the part numbers have been corrected, this has also been corrected on the Declaration of Conformity.
• To the datasheets of the Orion-TR Smart DC/DC Chargers Isolated and Non-Isolated we added the document: Engine-on detection set-up Orion-Tr Smart DC/DC Charger.
• We corrected and updated the datasheet, manual and Quick Installation Guide for the SmartShunt

The Youth Club that comes to you

Mobile energy lights-up young lives
A bus in Ljubljana has been converted into a Youth Centre so that young people have somewhere to meet friends – even when there is no local facility. The bus will come to them!
Lighting, refrigeration, the kettle and re-charge points, are all powered by a mobile electricity system based on a Victron Quattro.
