NICE TO KNOW
How a Battery Monitor changed my (RV electrical) life
Battery monitors, on the face of it, are a simple yet essential piece of kit for many. No more so than for Kelly Beasley and Marshall Wendler of CampAddict. Kelly recently got in touch with Victron about their insightful experience with a BMV (Battery Monitor Victron) – a BMV-700 in this instance.
Antarctic Station enjoys Solar Power
From November to March each year a small group of UK Antarctic Heritage Trust (UKAHT) staff travel to the end of the earth to open up a Post Office.
Not just any post office, of course – Port Lockroy has been a home to explorers, whalers, scientists, and sailors for over a hundred years and is the most popular destination on the Antarctic continent.
To avoid running a noisy generator, and importing fuel, the trust’s seasonal staff and visitors now benefit from 24-hour clean, silent energy provided by the sun.
Msol GmbH – A PV, Energy Storage & UPS project
It’s great to hear from Victron Energy customers, be they end users, dealers or indeed budding dealers and installers.
Here’s a case in point. Bernhard Matschinger got in touch with us lauding Victron’s products, which initially led him to build his own PV, Energy Storage UPS system and ultimately his own company – Msol GmbH.
