Australian CEC approval for MultiPlus-II

Australia’s CEC approved the MultiPlus-II. Australian CEC approval for MultiPlus-II

The MultiPlus-II has been approved by the Australian Clean Energy Council. The following model numbers will be visible on the approved inverters list* on the CEC Accreditation website:

  • MultiPlus II MultiPlus-II 48/3000/35-32
  • MultiGrid II MultiGrid-II 48/3000/35-32

 * Note that it may take up to 2 weeks for the changes to appear on the downloadable approved inverters list, because this list is only updated every fortnight.

Solar powered Sea Scouts

In the past few years the Sea Scouts have fantasised many times about installing solar panels on their ship. It always ended with ‘has no priority at the moment’…. But then Victron Energy employee Margreet Leeftink visited them and after taking a look at their broken second-hand Victron MultiPlus 24/3000/70, she immediately arranged a good deal for them on some solar panels and some extras. This was their chance to finally install solar panels on their ship!

Electronics company Bosco Printed Circuits, who are located in Johannesburg, were used to seeing production come to a halt on their shop floor as often as twice a week – caused by power cuts. Sometimes the outages were scheduled, sometimes they just happened. It was time to act…
