Venus v2.14
Venus OS version v2.14 has just been released. It brings various stability improvements and bug fixes.
MultiPlus & Quattro Inverter/Chargers: Improved Current Limits
Good news – a number of the MultiPlus, MultiGrid and Quattro Inverter/Chargers now have lower minimum input current limits for the PowerAssist function - this affects the 120V American market models particularly - but also some of the 230V models. To implement these improvements you will need to upgrade the firmware version - available via Victron Professional.

NICE TO KNOW
Shining a light into some pretty-dark places…
The Victoria Line – part of The London Underground Rail Network – was opened 50 years ago this year …so it’s time for a spot of re-wiring. All that infrastructure takes a lot of maintenance – with the power turned off! Power Saving Solutions has got this one nailed. One of the things they really appreciate is that they can monitor remotely, using the free-to-use VRM remote management portal.
Homemade Pi: Open source Raspberry flavour
Inspired by Izak Burger and his successful porting of the Venus software to a Raspberry Pi, Alan Major decided to investigate Victron’s open source software and communication protocols – to see what he could do to address his specific needs for his desirable camper van. Read here how Alan baked his homebrewed Pi.
