The new Victron Microgrid solution allows multiple independent Victron inverter/charger systems, or “Power Banks” to operate in parallel on a shared AC bus, forming high-power off-grid systems. Each Power Bank is a complete Victron system with its own inverter/chargers, charging sources, batteries and monitoring, working in parallel to share the load automatically in a stable and predictable way.
There is no central controller and no communication wiring between Power Banks. This modular approach keeps installations simple and flexible, using standard Victron components without the need for high-voltage infrastructure. If more power is needed, additional Power Banks can be added to scale the system up to 400 kW. Ideal for off-grid sites like remote communities, construction sites, events, or industrial applications.
The Victron Microgrid functionality is available for the existing VE.Bus inverter/charger range, including MultiPlus, MultiPlus-II, Quattro and Quattro-II.
