Italian self-consumption certification:
Super news, all our 3kVA MultiPlus-es are certified for use as Energy Storage systems in Italy. The certificate is available for download here.
With that, there is a new VE.Bus firmware version as well as a new version of the VEConfigure tools:

New VE.Bus firmware and VEConfiguration tools
VE.Bus firmware version xxyy404:

  • Added support for CEI grid code in combination with Ziehl relay

VEConfigure 183 and tools:

  • Added support for CEI grid code
  • Handling for private assistants improved
  • Bug removed in System Configurator which caused the maximum number of Quattros in a phase to be less than 5
  • Bug removed in System Configurator which resulted in a ‘crash’ in Hebrew Windows version
  • System Configurator improvement: in demo mode multiple units can be switched on/off in one action by simply dragging a selection box
  • Various other (minor) improvements

Victron Energy on show 2015/2016: Nautic 2015, Paris event
As 2015 is now behind us we reflect on one of the most recent (in fact one of the many) shows Victron Energy exhibited at in 2015 – and of course there are many more events scheduled for 2016 including Nautic 2016. Let’s look back and read more about Nautic 2015.


Dev: Raspbian packages for New Year!
While I (Matthijs Vader) have been busy playing with a BeagleBone Black, and running our CCGX software on it, Jeroen (one of the Victron developers working on the CCGX) decided to spend all of his free time and more on making Debian packages, containing the CCGX software. And the first version has been built and is available to install and test-run on your Raspberry Pi! With it, you can use your Pi to remotely monitor a VE.Direct product (MPPT Charge Controller and BMV Battery Monitor) on the VRM Portal, and probably other products as well.
